In the pantheon of gods, Brhaspati stood as the embodiment of wisdom and counsel. As the preeminent teacher to the devas, his knowledge was vast and far-reaching. Yet, he had a rival in the form of Shukra, the guru of the asuras. Shukra's teachings were said to be equal in power to Brhaspati's, creating an eternal dance between wisdom and mischief. The two rivals moved in perfect harmony, their knowledge and abilities constantly matched against one another. As the lord of prayer, Brhaspati sought to guide his students towards dharma, the righteous path that led to enlightenment. Shukra, on the other hand, taught his disciples how to exploit the weaknesses of others for personal gain. The rivalry between Brhaspati and Shukra served as a reminder that even in the celestial realms, wisdom and power were never static. It was up to each individual to choose which path they would follow - one of enlightenment or one of corruption.
