He became a master of the subtle arts, able to influence the tides of fate and bend the course of destiny itself. Yet even as he gained power, Shani remained true to the teachings of his parents, seeking balance in all things. He knew that without light, there could be no shadow, and without darkness, there could be no illumination. It was this understanding that made him the perfect judge of karma in the vast expanse of the cosmos. So let us remember the story of Shani, the son of darkness and light, as we go about our lives.
